Th Assisi - Hotel Cenacolo

Location not far from the church of San Francesco, the hill, and railway station and bus station. Also, in a well connected area...

Central heating, an electronic key card, and a work desk available in the classic twin room. Welcoming staff with a smile. Wonderful and fantastic location of the hotel, walk from a train station.

Location: the hotel was really close to shops and restaurants and railway station and the hill from the the old city of Assisi and the Basilica. Furthermore, one to two bars.

The hotel is renovated in a modern look. Our rooms was large (we had 2 adults, kid and a baby in a 3 person room). Rooms are very well lit. Breakfast was good.

Some little maintenance issues (Reading lamp not working, sealing in the bath could be better)

my must haves' are a huge, new-fashioned room with an excellent shower, tub, a great view. the service is outstanding with free parking available and great meals. i really enjoyed the staff, they are welcoming.

Recently refurbished rooms, Very clean atmosphere, Proper breakfast.

Air vent in bathroom clogged with dust and dirt, Reading bed light not working, Several power plugs not working in room, Very low water pressure in shower.

We liked it all: the whole building is gorgeous, the service was warm, the hotel was all very clean; very easy to arrive. Internet access was ok. Conveniently located between the upper and the lower Assisi. Price-offering relationship was ok. When we go back with Assisi, we will for sure come back to Ora Cenacolo.

Coffee could have been better, I mean, italian standard.

The only good things I can say about this hotel the location and views of Assisi and the large size of the rooms. Everything made for a bad stay.

The hotel seems to be all about "form". The substance of how things work and comfort have been missed. The room lighting is inadequate for reading and the bathrooms, while large, have tile floors that get quite slippery when wet. a large tour bus was there on our visit and at breakfast the group consumed all of the warm food and emptied juice and coffee dispensers. My biggest complaint was for the staff. If I mentioned a concern or complaint I was met with indifference and a shrug. This was one of my poorest hotel experiences in all of my European travels. be aware !!

I had a fantastic stay! The breakfast buffet was impressive, featuring delicious options. The peaceful atmosphere made for a perfect retreat, and the view of Assisi from my room was amazing. I would definitely come back!

Everything was fine, nice position not far from Assisi, clean and quiet rooms, breakfast ok, friendly staff.

The hotel is great in design and very good value for money. But it seemed to be severely understaffed and the facilities were not well maintained because different utililities went out at different time during our three night stay. Staff have tried to be helpful though.

This was close to the Centre of Santa Maria

We had an extra coffee at breakfast and they charged for them

Location, quiet, nice buildings, design

Place crowded with bus tours - at 7 A.M. you can hear "crowds" leaving pulling their suitcases. Internet did not work well and is not free of charge. In room no space to sit beside one desk chair. Bathroom no space to leave anything else than toothbrush - no hooks for towels. See through curtains on bathroom window. Breakfast room enormous and noisy.

The room we stayed in was a spacious junior suite with sleek, modern decor. It was super clean and had a nice view of the surrounding landscape. The air conditioning wasn't turned on, and it was pretty warm inside. The windows only opened a tiny bit, made things uncomfortable. The room was nice but lacked cooling options .
